Porto West covers an area of around 30 hectares in the former Westankärr estate on the island of Kemiö (Kimito in Swedish) in south-west Finland. This scenic area with breathtaking sea views has 55 building plots.

Oy Porto West Ab is a public limited company responsible for the administration and services in the area, among them comprehensive real estate management services.
Oy Porto West Ab is also responsible for the infrastructure and maintenance of the area. Property owners become shareholders in Oy Porto West Ab and thus own a share of the common areas and infrastructure.
Encompassing some 15 hectares, the common areas include roads, lawns and a coastline with a beach and marina.
Plots
The plots range in size from 1500 to 4500 square metres. Each plot has a sea view. All plots are serviced with municipal engineering facilities (water
supply, sewage treatment, electricity etc.) and a road network.
Houses
We offer a range of house packages for various needs. The houses are timbered or rendered in a selection of colours. We also offer various interior space solutions that can easily be tailored to specific customer requirements. Our house packages come in various stages of readiness: you can choose from ready-to-assemble packages to complete turnkey solutions.

Porto West – area for recreation
Porto West provides something for everybody. Nature lovers can pick berries and mushrooms and fishermen have ample opportunities for fishing. The common seafront encompasses an area of 7 hec-tares of which the coastline covers 500 metres. The beach, parks, sports grounds and fishing areas are all jointly owned by the property owners.
The joint storage facility in the marina provides space to all property owners for the storage of their boating and fishing equipment. A small island available for recreational purposes is located only a short boat trip away from Porto West.
Local activities
The island of Kemiö is a lively community offering a range of activities such as golf and horseback riding for both permanent inhabitants and summer residents. Not to mention the scenic beauty of the archipelago of south-west Finland which simply takes your breath away. The small island villages and pictu-resque natural harbours truly make everyone forget the hustle and bustle of working life.
Location
Porto West is less than a kilometre away from the Mjösund village of Kemiö, where there is a local grocery store. The centre of Kemiö is within 20 kilometres. The island itself is less than 2 hours’ drive from Helsinki and only 45 minutes from Turku.
